Born in Tacoma Park, Maryland into a career military family, Mrs. Settlemire has lived abroad as well as on numerous military bases across the United States. Her career as an Executive Administrative Assistant began over 20 years ago when she enlisted in the Navy.

Mrs. Settlemire has an extensive background in all aspects of business and office operations. This includes accounting practices and functions, interpreting financial statements, developing valuable customer service relationships, managing office personnel, retail sales, and marketing. Mrs. Settlemire is no stranger to Guardian’s primary customer industry – oilfield production and servicing. She has spent many years providing essential drilling supplies and building vital relationships with rig supervisors for some of Kern County’s biggest drilling operations – companies like Aera Energy, Occidental Petroleum, and Chevron Texaco.
