OSHA TRAINING
This course covers the requirements for the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of a respirator program. Topics include OSHA and ANSI standards, NIOSH certifications, and medical evaluation recommendations. Course also includes a fit-testing workshop. Note: Participation in fit-testing requires medical approval. After completing this course, participants will be able to: · Identify and describe the major elements of a respiratory protection program following the requirements in 29 CFR 1910.134 · Discuss the technical aspects for the proper selection and use of respiratory protection · Evaluate compliance with OSHA's respiratory protection standard by using the compliance directive and the Small Entity Compliance Guide
